IOF suppresses anti-settlement protest in Beit Dajan

Six Palestinians, including the Minister of Labor, were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of the weekly protest in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.

The protest, which was launched to reject the settlement outpost, broke out in the center of the town, with the participation of dozens of citizens who chanted slogans condemning the settlements.

The occupation soldiers fired bullets and tear gas canisters at the protestors, wounding three civilians with live ammunition, and three others with rubber-coated metal bullets.

For his part, the coordinator of the People's Committee for Land Defense in Beit Dajan, Nasr Abu Jaish, stated that his brother, Minister of Labor Nasri Abu Jaish, was hit with a metal bullet in the foot, and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
