Central Elections Commission (CEC) spokesman, Farid Toamallah, said that the commission sent three warnings to lists that ran election campaigning ahead of schedule.
Toamallah confirmed in a statement on Sunday morning that the violation, if committed, falls on the list and the media outlet that carried the election campaigning.
He pointed out that the Election Commission monitors the work of all lists and media outlets.
"Election advertising is any activity carried out by a person or list through which he displays the electoral program and invites people to vote for a specific list," said Toamallah.
He pointed out that if this violation is repeated, "the punishment may rise to the withdrawal of the list, imprisonment, and fines in accordance with the law."
With regard to international monitoring of the electoral process, Toamallah said, "the issue of international oversight is very important, and we in the Election Commission sent invitations to many parties, including the European Union, Russia, and other European countries, to monitor the elections."
It is expected that in the coming days, more international observers would like to monitor the electoral process.
"International monitoring is a political issue and it gives a political cover over the electoral process, and we will be keen on their presence, in addition to the local observers," said Tohmullah.
He confirmed that his committee is preparing to publish the names of the lists and names of candidates on the committee's website for 3 days.
Tohmallah said, "Any citizen has the right to object to any candidate within the lists or a specific list, and whoever has any objection can communicate with the committee and submit objections, under condition that the objections are valid in accordance with the law."
He stressed that the final list of the candidates and the suspension of the process of objections to the lists and candidates will be on April 30, and on the same date the election campaigning will start until May 20.
