An electoral list said that if it was decided to cancel or postpone the legislative elections scheduled to be held next month, it will invite people to peacefully demonstrate, rejecting the attempt to circumvent the choice of the Palestinian people.
The head of the list, Ihab al-Nahhal, warned in a statement that reached Safa on Sunday of the consequences of canceling or postponing the elections without justification.
"The Palestinian people yearn for renewal and democratic change," he said.
These statements come in light of separate conversations about the possibility of postponing the elections, and this issue was raised by Salih Raafat, Secretary-General of the Fada Party, in which he said that the issue of postponing the elections should be present if they are not held in Jerusalem, along with Hamad Majdalani’s and the Azzam Al-Ahmad’s statements in the meeting with the PLO factions to discuss delaying the elections.
