Abu Ubaida, the military spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Friday the names of six Israeli prisoners who are scheduled to be released on Saturday, February 21, 2025, as part of a prisoner exchange deal.

In a post on his Telegram account, Abu Ubaida stated: "As part of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades has decided to release the following Israeli prisoners tomorrow, Saturday, February 21, 2025:"

2. Omar Shem Tov  
3. Omer Finkert  
4. Tal Shoham  
5. Avira Mengisto  
6. Hisham al-Sayyid
