Kuwait Relief Successfully Funds Al-Nasr Hospital Reconstruction in Gaza

Kuwait Relief has announced the successful completion of its campaign to rebuild Al-Nasr Children’s Hospital in Gaza, raising $10 million in just five days. The hospital, destroyed by Israeli forces in November, previously served 95,000 pediatric patients annually.

Omar Al-Thuwaini, the campaign’s supervisor, stated that the new 10,000-square-meter facility will feature five floors, including emergency care, outpatient clinics, a dialysis center, and neonatal units. Construction will begin once Gaza stabilizes and aid resumes.

The campaign, supported by Arab influencers and humanitarian organizations, highlights Kuwait Relief’s commitment to Gaza’s healthcare sector. Al-Thuwaini emphasized that this initiative is the first of many projects aimed at addressing Gaza’s urgent needs, particularly for children.

The rebuilt hospital, located near Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital, is expected to serve 165,000 children annually, offering hope amid Gaza’s ongoing humanitarian crisis.
