In yet another blow to Gaza’s crumbling health system, Israeli forces have completely destroyed the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Centre in the north of the besieged enclave. The centre, which had already been operating under extreme conditions following repeated Israeli strikes, was the only facility of its kind serving thousands in Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and Umm al-Nasr.

Before its destruction on Sunday evening, the clinic had only eight functioning dialysis machines left. These lifelines for patients with chronic kidney failure were all that remained after months of attacks. Now, even that has been taken away.

The targeting of such a vital medical facility is seen by many Palestinians as part of a systematic campaign to dismantle what remains of Gaza’s healthcare network, further punishing a population already facing starvation, displacement, and relentless bombardment. For those dependent on dialysis to survive, the message is brutally clear: there is nowhere left to turn.
