Relentless Bloodshed: Over 50 Killed and 500 Injured in Gaza in 24 Hours

At least 52 Palestinians have been killed and 503 injured across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health. The continuous Israeli bombardment has pushed the death toll to an unprecedented 54,470, with more than 124,000 wounded since the start of the onslaught on 7 October 2023.

Since 18 March alone, over 4,200 people have lost their lives and more than 12,600 have been injured, reflecting the intensified pace of the assault. Among the dead are 35 Palestinians killed while trying to collect humanitarian aid, bringing the total number of aid-related deaths to 75. More than 400 civilians have now been killed in areas designated for aid distribution.

Civil defence teams continue to report victims trapped under the rubble or left on the streets, unreachable due to ongoing attacks and the destruction of rescue infrastructure. As the bodies pile up and families mourn in silence, the Ministry has urged relatives of the dead and missing to submit their information, in an effort to maintain a complete record of the victims of this ongoing tragedy.
