Israeli Strikes Near Aid Centres Leave 300 Dead in Gaza, Says Palestinian Authority

The Palestinian Government Media Office in Gaza has condemned what it describes as deliberate Israeli attacks on civilians near US-backed aid distribution points, reporting at least 300 killed and 2,649 wounded since late May. The victims, many critically injured, were targeted while queuing for food in areas such as Rafah and Wadi Gaza, locations now branded as "death traps" by local officials.

A detailed casualty breakdown shows relentless violence, with the deadliest single day on June 11, when 57 Palestinians were killed and 363 injured. Nine others remain missing, feared buried under rubble or seized by Israeli forces. Authorities accuse Israel of exploiting starvation as a weapon, systematically striking crowds gathered near aid zones.

International observers have long warned that militarised aid operations endanger civilians. Gaza’s administration demands urgent global intervention to establish secure humanitarian corridors, free from attack. The escalating toll, they argue, exposes the grim reality of Israel’s siege, where survival itself has become a lethal gamble.
