Brussels Sees Huge Pro-Palestine March Demanding End to Gaza Siege

Tens of thousands flooded the streets of Brussels on Sunday in a powerful show of solidarity with Gaza, denouncing Israel’s relentless assault and the world’s complicit silence. Bearing red clothing and banners declaring "We Draw the Red Line," protesters, including unions, activists, and Palestinian diplomats, formed a vast human chain across the city, demanding an immediate end to the bloodshed.

Palestinian Ambassador Amal Jadou addressed the crowd, hailing the demonstration as proof that Europe’s conscience still burns. "Your voices today mark a red line for humanity," she said. "No more bombs, no more siege, no more stolen childhoods. Gaza will remember this solidarity."

Chants against genocide, starvation tactics, and the obliteration of Palestinian neighbourhoods echoed through the capital, as marchers condemned Western governments for arming Israel while ignoring its atrocities. Calls rang out for sanctions, an arms embargo, and an end to decades of occupation.

The protest, part of a growing wave of dissent across Belgium, underscored global outrage over Gaza’s suffering, and a refusal to let it be erased.
