The Conference of Palestinians in Europe has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s systematic starvation of the population in Gaza, describing it as a deliberate policy of genocide unfolding before the silent eyes of the international community. The statement denounced the ongoing atrocities committed against unarmed civilians, stressing that what is taking place is a crime against humanity.
Firm in its rejection of this collective punishment, the Conference called on Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, and all supporters of Palestinian rights across Europe and beyond to mobilise urgently, through political, legal, humanitarian, and media channels, to stop the unfolding disaster in Gaza. It emphasised the need for everyone to act within their means and areas of influence to bring an end to this brutality, enabled by international complicity and silence.
The Conference urged European decision-makers to intervene immediately to save the besieged and starving population of Gaza. It called for strong political and economic pressure on Israel to end its crimes, warning that continued inaction amounts to a moral stain on all of humanity.
It further appealed to international institutions and global bodies to take swift measures to hold Israel accountable for its crimes and to prevent the complete erasure of the Palestinian people, who are being subjected to a renewed Nakba aimed at stripping them of their existence, rights, and land. The Conference reaffirmed that time is running out, and that silence is no longer an option.
