Aid Turns to Ashes: 99 Killed, Over 650 Wounded in New Israeli Massacre Targeting Starving Civilians in Gaza

At least 99 Palestinians were killed and more than 650 wounded on Sunday after Israeli forces opened fire on desperate civilians waiting for food aid in the Gaza Strip, in what marks one of the deadliest single assaults on humanitarian seekers since the war began 653 days ago.

According to medical sources reported by Safa News Agency, 86 people were slaughtered in the northwestern part of Gaza as they gathered near an aid convoy. Meanwhile, another 13 civilians were shot dead near distribution points north of Rafah and at the Deir al-Balah roundabout in southern Gaza, bringing the total death toll of the day to 99.

This latest massacre follows a disturbing pattern of attacks on food lines and humanitarian convoys. In recent weeks, the Israeli army has increasingly targeted civilians congregating in search of flour, baby formula, and drinking water. Human rights organisations have condemned these strikes as a deliberate strategy of starvation warfare, designed to humiliate, weaken, and ultimately erase Gaza’s civilian population.

The death toll from attacks near aid trucks and distribution centres, many reportedly coordinated with U.S.-linked efforts, has now surpassed 995 lives, with over 6,000 wounded. All were unarmed civilians. All were simply trying to stay alive.

As the siege tightens and hope vanishes, Gazans continue to pay for the world's indifference with their blood.
