The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement-Hamas said that the US implementation of its decision to label Israeli settlement products as “Made in Israel” reflects its insistence on violating international law and all human norms.

Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qassem, said in a press statement that the US move is a real insult to the entire Arab system and its decisions, and it came with encouragement from the normalization steps taken by some Arab parties.

It is worth mentioning that the order requiring goods made in Israeli-controlled areas of the West Bank to be labeled as “Made in Israel” has come into effect last Wednesday.

It was announced by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in November following his visit to a West Bank settlement, where he visited a winery.
