Five Palestinians Killed, Several Injured in Fresh Israeli Airstrikes Across Gaza

SAFA — Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip early Monday, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire that killed five Palestinians and injured several others.

The attacks targeted displaced families, residential neighborhoods, and areas near shelters across the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreement.

Israeli Drone Strikes Kill Palestinians in Gaza City and Khan Younis

In northwestern Gaza City, an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians near Al-Isra Mosque in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

The attack killed a young Palestinian man identified as Mohammed Sha'sha'a and injured several others, according to a local correspondent.

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting the Qizan Rashwan area, south of the city.

Another Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded when an Israeli drone struck the area surrounding Al-Tabi'in School in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of central Gaza City.

In a separate attack, an Israeli airstrike near Al-Saroukh Intersection on Al-Jalaa Street in northern Gaza City killed one Palestinian and injured several others.

The four attacks brought the reported death toll since early Monday to five Palestinians, with additional injuries recorded across the territory.

Israeli Forces Open Fire on Displaced Palestinians

In southern Gaza, Israeli forces shot and wounded a Palestinian on Monday morning in the Nahr Al-Bared camp, south of Khan Younis.

The shooting occurred as Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire in the surrounding area.

Israeli forces also targeted Palestinian homes and tents sheltering displaced families east of the Al-Tuffah and Shuja'iyya neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City.

Artillery shelling struck northern parts of the Gaza Strip, while Israeli tanks opened heavy fire toward eastern areas of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli artillery also shelled areas north of Bureij, as gunfire continued near positions occupied by Israeli military vehicles.

In southern Gaza, Israeli forces fired toward displacement tents in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, while artillery shells struck northeastern Khan Younis.

Israeli naval vessels also fired shells offshore near Rafah, adding to the attacks reported across Gaza's coastal areas.

Ten Ceasefire Violations Recorded Since Monday Morning

According to the report, Israeli forces committed at least 10 new violations of the ceasefire agreement since dawn Monday.

The violations included artillery bombardment, drone strikes, and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and aircraft.

The latest attacks followed another deadly day on Sunday, when four Palestinians were killed and others injured in 23 reported Israeli ceasefire violations.

The continuing attacks have raised concerns about the stability of the ceasefire and the safety of Palestinians living in residential neighborhoods and displacement camps.

Continued Israeli Attacks Threaten Gaza Ceasefire

The report states that Israeli violations have continued despite the passage of 375 days since the ceasefire took effect.

Israeli military operations have continued to target residential areas and Palestinian land across the Gaza Strip, threatening to undermine the agreement and worsening the suffering of a population already devastated by widespread destruction and growing humanitarian needs.

On July 31, 2026, US President Donald Trump announced a proposed roadmap for implementing the phases of the ceasefire and ending the war on Gaza.

Palestinian factions subsequently announced their acceptance of the roadmap on several occasions.

Nevertheless, Israeli attacks have continued to be reported across the Gaza Strip, leaving Palestinian civilians exposed to airstrikes, shelling, and gunfire despite the declared ceasefire.
