Yedioth Ahronoth disclosed a meeting held between Benny Gantz, Prime Minister of Defence, and Abdullah II, King of Jordan in Amman.
Gantz said Benjamin Netanyahu is an unwelcomed figure in Jordan in which he contributed to the deterioration of relations with Jordan's system, according to the newspaper.
It also disclosed another meeting held between Gabi Ashkenazi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his Jordanian counterpart to discuss ways of developing relations.
Gantz stated in a meeting with the activists of his party that he has close relations with Jordan.
"Having relations with Jordan is a precious treasure. It was supposed to be better. I am in direct communication with Jordan's king and other Jordanian officials," Gantz said.
He added, "I believe that we can cooperate in many civil projects aim at strengthening the relation, but Netanyahu is unwelcomed here, unfortunately."
