Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook, a senior member of Hamas, said that Hamas refuses the delay of elections for any reason.
He said on Twitter on Tuesday, "Hamas wants to embody the free will of the Palestinian candidates and Jerusalemites will not be excluded from voting."
He added, "We want honest candidates. We do not want the Palestinian Authority to use its tools to support specific candidates."
Hamas yesterday submitted its list for the elections to the Central Election Committee, under the slogan "Al-Quds Our Destination".
The 3rd Palestinian elections are supposed to be held on 3 levels; Legislative on May 22, Presidential July 31, and then the National Council elections on August 31.
