Stability of injured detainee, Burqan’s, health status


The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoner Affairs Committee stated on Wednesday that the health status of the injured detainee, Abdulrahman Burqan, 22, from the Hebron in the south of the West Bank, who is located in the surgery department of the Israeli Shaare Zedek Medical Center, is stable.
The committee stated in a press release reached Safa that the detainee Burqan was hit by bullets by the Israeli army in different parts of his bod, a month ago, near Abu Al-Rish military checkpoint adjacent to Al-Haram Al-Ibrahimi in Hebron city.

Burqan had undergone several operations on the site of the injury, and he still suffers from fractures of his feet, and recently the Israeli doctors had implanted screws with both feet, and it is expected to remove them within a month.

Burqan, currently, is not able to stand on his feet and suffers from difficulty in movement, and often complains of pain in the abdomen and feet, but in general his health is good and stable.
