The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the escalation of house demolitions and Palestinian establishments carried out by the Israeli occupation forces throughout the occupied territories, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards these crimes.
The ministry pointed out that local, Israeli and international reports monitored this escalation, the latest of which was the report issued today by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), which confirmed that the occupation authorities demolished or seized 26 structures in the occupied West Bank during the two weeks, displacing 34 citizens, including 15 children, and affecting about 40 others.
In addition, the ministry emphasized that the occupation authorities are continuing to implement their colonial settlement projects, as is currently happening west of Bethlehem, in addition to the ongoing demolition9, with the aim to remove the Palestinian citizens.
It held the occupation government fully and directly responsible for the crime of demolishing homes and establishments.
