Palestinian Prime Minister, Mohammad Shtayyeh, said that the government has sent letters to the United Nations, the European Union, Russia, and the United States to request intervention to bind Israel to the signed agreements, including holding elections in Jerusalem.

Shtayyeh announced, In his speech at the beginning of the weekly cabinet session, that everything would facilitate the participation of electoral lists in the electoral process in an atmosphere of freedom and transparency, indicating that the number of lists indicates pluralism and the desire for practicing the democratic process.
