Islamic Resistance Movement -Hamas- condemned the arrest of the candidate Najeh Assi from his house in Ramallah. 

"Israel's terrorism pursues the Palestinian people and leaders," Hamas said in a statement. 

It stated that the fearful abduction conducted by Israeli special units confirmed Israel's criminal policy in chasing the citizens in wake of their participation in the elections. 

Hamas confirmed that they are not turning back the elections, showing that the Palestinians will say their word throughout the ballot box, and will choose their leader who will get Palestine into life again. 

the International institutions and several countries across the world called for boycotting Israel and its government for the terrorism it practices over the Palestinians by intimidation or detention.
