Arab Parliament calls for action to stop Israel’s violations against Al-Aqsa

The Arab Parliament called on the international community to take urgent action to stop the violations committed by the Israeli authorities against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the last of which was cutting the wires of the loudspeakers from its minarets, which disrupted them during Isha and Tarawih prayers.

Parliament Speaker, Adel Al-Asoumi, on Wednesday condemned in a statement the violations committed by Israel in Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that it represents a flagrant violation of the rules of international law and all international legitimacy decisions that affirm the historical and legal status of the religious sanctities in Palestine and criminalize to harm it or violate its sanctity.

Al-Asoumi considered that Israel’s embarkation of these attacks on the first days of the holy month of Ramadan constitutes an unacceptable provocation to the feelings of millions of Muslims, holding Israel fully responsible for the consequences of these attacks.

He called on the international community to urgently intervene and take the necessary practical measures to oblige the Israeli authorities to stop their continuous violations of the religious sanctities and to provide them with the necessary protection in compliance with international law and relevant international legitimacy decisions, and all international human rights charters that affirm freedom of worship and respect for religious sanctities.
