Hanna calls for urgent Arabic actions to save Jerusalem

Atallah Hanna, the Archbishop of Sabastia, warned of the danger of what is happening in occupied Jerusalem, asking for urgent Arabic actions to save Jerusalem.

"Jerusalem is in risk. What it faces is indescribable; desecration, displacement, deportation and many other kinds of violations Jerusalem faces everyday," Hanna said.

He noted that the Israeli violations affected the holy places and holy neighborhoods as dozens of families are threatened to evacuate their homes in Al-Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

"The leak of properties phenomenon is not new and its goal falls under an occupying project that targets Jerusalem, its identity, history, and heritage," he said.

"It is a risky phenomenon that benefits the Israeli occupation. Leakers, no matter what are their names or nicknames, they sold their humanity, affiliation and conscious for dollars," he added.

He considered all leaks as illegal because the properties in Jerusalem are not goods on sail; they are a part of its history, identity, and heritage.
