On the issue of Saudi detention of Palestinians, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has renewed calls for Saudi Arabia to release all Palestinian detainees, including Hamas envoy Dr. Mohammad al Khoudari.
Hamas Spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said in a statement, a copy of which obtained by Safa, that "There is no justification for the detention of Hamas official Dr. Mohammad al Khoudri, his son and all other Palestinians in Saudi jails."
"The Palestinians in the Gulf State should be honored for serving the Saudi Kingdom and its people instead of being detained and tortured, especially that they have not committed any offense or felony," Barhoum added.
"It is time to release them all as the Muslim world is marking the Islamic holy month of Ramadan," he continued.
"The Saudi authorities have a religious and moral duty to immediately release them and return them to their families."
