The Islamic Resistance Movement-Hamas strongly condemns on Saturday targeting Palestinian fishermen with live ammunition by the Egyptian military offshore Rafah on Friday, September 25, 2020, which led to the killing of two Palestinian brothers Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Zazoua’ and Hasan Mohammed Al-Zazoua’ and the injury of the third brother Yaser Mohammed Al-Zazoua’.

Hamas confirms that this repeated violence with persons seeking livelihood amid the suffocating Israeli siege imposed on Gaza is unjustifiable.

On this sad occasion, Hamas extends its sincerest condolences to the family of Al-Zazoua’ and confirms its absolute rejection of such an aggressive policy. The movement also demands the Israeli occupation to carry out a probe into this crime.

Finally, the movement affirms that all parties should fulfill their humanitarian responsibility towards the Gaza Strip by working to end the crippling Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.
