Al-Quds Center for Political Studies: 144 arrests recorded in the first half of March

Al-Quds Center for Political Studies stated that the number of arrests committed by the Israeli army in various areas of the West Bank in the first half of March/April reached 144.

The arrests affected 6 women in Hebron, Jenin, and Jerusalem, 2 women from Nablus, and 5 children from Jerusalem, Nablus, and Hebron, according to a statistic conducted by the center.

The arrests included 4 candidates of the Legislative Council elections.

The distribution of the arrests was as the following: 47 cases in Jerusalem, 21 in Bethlehem, 18 in Hebron, 17 in Ramallah, 15 in Jenin, 14 in Nablus, 4 in the occupied territories, 2 cases in each Qalqilya, Tulkarm, and Salfit, and a guy from Gaza.
