The Israeli occupation forces released Monday Mohammed Al-Abbasi- a 27-Jerusalemite prisoner, from Silwan town after spending 6 years in prison.

The head of the prisoners' families committee mentioned that Al-Abbasi was arrested on April 19, 2015, under accusation of participating in clashes and throwing Molotov cocktails at Israeli outposts in Silwan.

He noted that the Israeli court sentenced him to life imprisonment and fined him 10.000 NIS.

Al-Abbasi completed his education and had a bachelor's degree while in prison.

He was transferred between various prisons to be released today from Negev prison.
