Husam Badran, the Member of Hamas’ National Relations Office, stated on Saturday that the discussions with Fatah are not an alternative to the comprehensive national dialogue.
"The discussions between Hamas and Fatah are not an alternative to the comprehensive national dialogue but they come in preparation for it just as we did with other Palestinian factions," Badran said.
He underscored that "the statements being reported about reaching deals and setting timetables are false. We reiterate our willingness to reach comprehensive national agreements on all matters."
It is worth noting that two senior delegations from Hamas and Fatah met in the Palestinian Consulate General in Istanbul to work on a unified vision.
