The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Yusuf Al Uthaymeen, sent a written letter to António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the UN, confirming his organization's supportive position of the Palestinian cause. 

He referred to the organization's concerns about the Israeli attacks against the Palestinians in Jerusalem. 

He also called on the international organization to force Israel to stop its violations in Jerusalem and to allow the Jerusalemites to participate in the Palestinian elections according to the international laws and signed agreements.
