The Israeli Occupation Police and the Shin Bet security service arrested 165 Palestinian men and women within two days.

The arrests came against the background of the protests in the occupied territories in 1948 against the attack on Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, and condemnation of settler attacks on Palestinian citizens.

According to the Arab website, the number of detainees in Al-Taybeh, Al-Tira, Umm Al-Fahm, and Qalansawa, reached 13 detainees in two days, and later 8 young men were released among them.

Witnesses reported that the arrests campaign affected many young men in the city of Haifa, and it was learned that other arrests were carried out in the town of Kafr Qara.

The Israeli police transferred many detainees to the Israeli Public Prosecution Office and others are under investigation.
