Egypt invites Hamas, PA and Israel for Long-term ceasefire discussions in Cairo

Israeli TV disclosed an Egyptian invitation sent to Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, and Israel to engage in the talks that aim at confirming the ceasefire in Cairo, which revolve around three main topics.

Channel 11 (Israel) mentioned that the discussion will be taken indirectly in Cairo, and will revolve around a long-term ceasefire, exchange deal, and mechanism of rebuilding Gaza.

It noted that the official date for the discussion is not set yet.

Hazem Qassim, the Spokesperson of Hamas, published on Monday details of the meeting of the Egyptian security delegation with Hamas leaders in Gaza.

The delegation's visit to Gaza comes within the effective Egyptian role in many important causes related to our national cause," Qassim said in a press release.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared on Friday that Sameh Shokry, the Minister, received a call from Gabi Ashkenazi and discussed the procedures that might ease the reconstruction of Gaza in the upcoming phase.
