Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum commented on the potential political changes within the Israeli occupation.

"We do not bet on any changes within the Israeli occupation as they are all an outcome of a settler-colonial project aimed to perpetuate the Israeli occupation at the expense of Palestinian rights," said Fawzi Barhoum.

"The identity of any Israeli occupation government will not change the nature of the struggle with this occupier that will be considered as a settler-colonial entity that must be resisted and will not affect the course of the Palestinian fight to end the occupation," Barhoum added.

"We count on the will of our Palestinian people and the justice of their cause and their continuous and growing resistance as a legitimate right to defend the Palestinian rights and face off the Israeli occupation and its schemes," he stressed.
