Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said, on Monday, that two Israeli special units, Metzada and Yamaz, raided Section 4 in Gilboa prison this early morning and carried out a wide inspection campaign in the prison, resulting in a tense situation among the prisoners. 

The commission condemned what the Palestinian prisoners face in the Israeli prisons, like brutal raids, to suffocate the prisoners, impose sanctions on them, and depriving them of their basic rights. 

Metzada unit was formed in 2003 as a repressive unit for the Israeli police as other special units: Nahshon. 

It consists of soldiers and officers armed with Uzi weapons laser weapons, and tear gas.
