Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Tuesday evening that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) stabbed the Palestinian cause in the back, commenting on the Emirati-Israeli agreement.

"We are the only ones who speak on the Palestinian cause, and we are the ones who sign for the Palestinian cause and no one can represent us." Abbas said at the start of the leaders meeting with the participation of the Palestinian factions in Ramallah. "This meeting confirms that the Palestinian people are united, and we are not concerned with what is going on here and there from nonsense."

Abbas confirmed that all factions are united against the conspiracy, and all stand together against anyone who wants to attack the Palestinian cause.

"Our reaction would be applied to any country that will follow the UAE which stabbed the cause in the back," said Abbas, saluting the countries that stood with Palestine by rejecting the deal of the century and the annexation plan.

US President Donald Trump announced Thursday Israel and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to full normalization of relations.
