Gaza’s Ministry of Health has confirmed that six more Palestinians have died from starvation, bringing the death toll from hunger and malnutrition to 175, including 93 children. The enclave, home to over two million people, is being slowly strangled by a total blockade that has cut off food, fuel, and medicine for months.
Health officials denounced the crisis as “a deliberate policy of starvation,” accusing Israel of weaponising hunger to break the civilian population. Since March, all border crossings have been sealed, violating a ceasefire agreement that had promised a steady flow of aid. As a result, Gaza’s shelves are bare: milk, vegetables, meat, and basic medicines have vanished, leaving families in a fight for survival.
With more than 208,000 Palestinians killed or injured since the assault began, and hundreds of thousands displaced without access to essentials, the situation has plunged into what aid workers warn is an engineered humanitarian collapse. Doctors on the ground insist this is no longer a political debate but a matter of life and death, as Gaza’s people starve under siege while the world looks on.
