Human Rights Watch: Israel killed 62 civilians in 3 horrible military airstrikes

Human Rights Watch organization confirmed Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army committed horrible airstrikes during its war on the Gaza Strip in May 2021, violating all laws of war amount to war crimes. 

Its investigations reported that the Israeli army killed 62 Palestinian civilians in 3 airstrikes that were launched without specific military targets in the area. 

The Associate Director, Crisis and Conflict Division Gerry Simpson stated that Israel fired rockets that wiped out entire families without any military targets found in the area during its war on Gaza.

He confirmed that the ongoing absence of the Palestinian Authority's desire to open a serious investigation into those alleged war crimes highlighted the importance of opening an objective inquiry by the International Criminal Court. 

The United Nations confirmed that the Israeli attacks launched during the war killed 260 Palestinians, including 66 children. 

The investigations reported that on May 10, an Israeli rocket was launched near four houses belonging to the Al-Masri family and killed 8 civilians, including 6 children. 

On May 15, an Israeli airstrike rocked a 3 storey building in the Beach camp, killing 10 civilians; two women and 8 children from two families that were relatives.

On May, 16, a series of military airstrikes continued to rock arbitrary objects in the Wehda street for four minutes. As a result, 3 buildings were destroyed and 44 civilians were killed. 

The Israeli army claimed that it targeted a tunnel belonging to Hamas and a central site Hamas leaders used to meet in, but it did not provide evidence to confirm those claims. 

The organization confirmed that its investigations found that there were no military targets in the area as claimed.
