Palestinian female prisoners are facing brutal conditions, says commission

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission confirmed that the conditions of detention and interrogation are brutal to Palestinian female prisoners in Damon Prison.

The 50-year-old prisoner, Mona Qaadan, who was arrested three months ago from her home in Jenin, stated that Israeli forces stormed her house at dawn to arrest her.

Qaadan described the situation in Jalameh prison, saying, “The conditions of the prisons in Jalameh prison are very difficult.”

It should be noted that this is the sixth arrest of Qaadan. She served 8 years in Israeli prisons, and she is still detained now.

There are currently 40 female prisoners in Damon Prison, who are facing very difficult conditions of detention, as they are subjected to all methods of psychological torture and deprivation of the most basic necessities of life.
