The Royal Air Maroc and the Israeli Air Arabia companies announced to open new airlines between Morocco and Israel to expand flights.
The Head of the Israeli Liaison Office in Rabat David Govrin said that "due to the increased demand for direct flights between the two countries, the Air Arabia and the Royal Air Maroc companies will open new airlines that connect Marrakesh and Casablanca with Israel."
"Opening new airlines is a big step to add to the efforts made to strengthen the relations between Israeli and Morocco," he said on Twitter.
The announcement came after two days of Morocco's Ministry calling her Israeli counterpart to discuss the possible ways to promote cooperation between Israel and Morocco.
In last July, the first commercial trip between Israel and Morocco transferred a hundred Israeli visitors after 7 months of resuming their diplomatic relations.
