Israeli forces evening Friday detained a Palestinian teen after assaulting and beating up him with his mother in Hebron city, south of the West Bank.

Local sources confirmed that the Israeli soldiers detained Mohammad Aref Jaber, 17, the son of the activist in the Gathering of Human Rights Defenders, and brutally assaulted him and his mother.

The assault and detention came during attacking dozens of Palestinian homes in the city by Israeli soldiers and settlers from the settlement of Kiryat Arba, built on Palestinian lands east of Hebron.
