Palestinian athlete Yazan Jaber has won the gold medal in finals GAMMA Asian MMA Championships 2021 held in Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan.

Jaber qualified in the first round and defeated his Indian counterpart in the final, as well as his Kazakhstani counterpart in the semi-finals.

Jaber hails from occupied Jerusalem and is a former political prisoner in Israeli prisons.
