Two Palestinians were injured Tuesday evening after being beaten up by Israeli settlers near the town of Silat to the south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
Local sources confirmed that a number of Israeli settlers attacked with stones Palestinian-owned vehicles driving on Jenin-Nablus road.
The sources added that the settlers severely beat up two Palestinians, identified as Mustafa Ghawadra, aged 62, and Fathi Abu Ali, aged 65, after destroying their car.
The assault resulted in causing the elderly injuries and bruises throughout their bodies, and they were transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
