Six Prisoners Continue their Open Hunger Strike

The Detainees and Ex-detainees Affairs Commission stated that six Palestinian prisoners continue their open hunger strike in rejection of their administrative detention practiced against them.

The hunger-striking prisoners are Kayed Al-Fasfous, who has been on hunger strike for 66 days, Meqdad Al-Qawasmeh, 41 days, Hesham Abo Hawwash, 33 days, Rayeq Besharat, 28 days and Shadi Abo Iker, 25 days.

The commission noted that the prisoners suffer from harsh health conditions; pains, loss of weight, loss of salt and liquids and exhaustion. It also held the Israeli occupation accountable for their lives.
