Three Palestinians Friday were injured by Israeli forces during the weekly protest against Israeli settlements in the village of Kafr Qaddoum in the northern West Bank.
The Coordinator of the Popular Resistance in the village Morad Shtewi confirmed that dozens of Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated rounds and teargas at the protesters, who were protesting the Israeli settlements and demanding to reopen the village’s main road, which has been sealed off for more than 17 years by the Israeli authorities.
Shtewi added that the attack resulted in injuring three protesters and suffocating many others; they were treated by local medics at the scene.
People of Kafr Qaddoum protest every Friday against the Israeli settlement expansion, and in return, Israeli forces meet them with shooting and firing stun and teargas grenades.
