Prisoner Abu Aker ends his hunger strike

Handala Center for the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs stated that the prisoner Shadi Abu Aker has ended his hunger strike after 69 days as the Israeli occupation forces announced to consolidate his administrative detention to 6 months. 

6 prisoners in the Israeli prisons continue their open hunger strike in rejection of their administrative detention, the oldest is Kayed Al-Fasfous, who has been on hunger strike for 110 days. 

Within the same context, a group of Birzeit’s students in Ramallah announced their hunger strike in solidarity with the hunger-striking prisoners, according to the Asra Media office. Also, the university holds national initiatives for the prisoners on hunger strike.
