The High Commission for the Follow-up of Prisoners’ Affairs organized a stand in solidarity with the prisoners on hunger strike in front of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.
The families of the prisoners and faction leaders participated in the stand and raised pictures of the striking prisoners to demand their release.
It should be noted that five prisoners are on an open hunger strike to refuse administrative detention.
In a related context, student blocs at Birzeit University organized a stand in support of the prisoners inside the university campus.
Hundreds of students participated, raising pictures of strikers.
After the stand, dozens of students proceeded to the vicinity of "Beit El" settlement to confront the occupation.Source : Safa
