Families of Sheikh Jarrah rejects Israel’s compromise proposal

The families of Sheikh Jarrah, threatened with displacement in Al-Quds, announced their rejection of the Israeli occupation’s “proposal” to compromise.

They said in a statement that they refuse the proposal, which would steal their right in the land and render them tenants; not landowners. They stated that they realize that the Israeli judiciary is circumventing its duty to adjudicate the case and is forcing them instead to choose between dispossession or submitting to an oppressive agreement.

Ismail Hanniyeh, the chief of the political office of Hamas, sent a letter to the families, saying that the Palestinian resistance is supporting them. He also greeted their resistance and ability to surpass the policial trap set by “the compromise proposal.”

Within the same context, the Israeli occupation forces attacked the Jerusalemites in the Sheikh Jarrah to evacuate the tent set at the entrance of Al-Kurd house, beat them, and evacuated the tent by force. Also, settlers attacked the citizens by throwing eggs at them and describing them with bad words.
