Occupation sentences a prisoner from Bethlehem to 3 years in prison


The Military Occupation Court in Ofer sentenced Mahmoud Jamal Al-Sabah, 29, from the town of Tekoa in Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank, to 3 years in prison, in addition to a fine of 2,000 shekels.

The Prisoners’ Media Office reported that the occupation forces arrested Al-Sabah on February 28, 2020, after raiding his family’s home in Tekoa, destroying its contents, and interrogating a number of his relatives, before transferring him to investigations at the “Etzion” detention center.

It added that the occupation sentenced him to 3 years in prison, of which he has spent nearly 20 months so far.
