The Palestinian boy Omar Abu Asab, 16, was shot and killed by the Israeli occupation forces in Bab Al-Amoud in Al-Quds, under the pretext of claiming to stab two Israeli policemen.
Maariv newspaper claimed that Abu Asab attacked two Israeli police officers and caused them slight to medium injuries. Thus, another policeman fired a gun at the boy and killed him.
In Al-Issawiya village, after the announcement of the martyrdom of Abu Asab, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village, arrested the family of the killed boy, and fired metal bullets and tear gas bombs. Accordingly, five citizens were shot and injured.
On the other side, the Palestinian citizens closed the main streets leading to the village and fired incendiary bottlers at the Israeli occupation forces in response to the martyrdom of the boy.
Also, the Islamic and national forces announced a general strike in mourning Abu Asab’s death.
