The humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens with each passing day, as the brutal Israeli assault continues to devastate the region. Since the onset of hostilities on 7th October 2023, following an unprecedented attack by Hamas, the Gaza Ministry of Health has reported that more than 44,000 Palestinians have lost their lives in this ongoing conflict.
In addition to the heavy death toll, over 105,000 have been wounded, with the majority of casualties resulting from Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling. In the last 24 hours alone, 32 more lives were claimed. The people of Gaza are trapped in a dire situation, struggling to survive amidst the destruction of vital infrastructure, a severe lack of essential supplies, and relentless attacks that show no sign of abating.
As the conflict rages on, the Palestinian population bears the brunt of the suffering, with civilians paying the highest price in this catastrophic war.
