Prisoner's Authority calls for "Al- Halabi" immediate release

The head of the Prisoners and Executives Affairs Authority, Qadri Abu Bakr, called on the institutions of the international community, on Sunday, to pressure the Israeli occupation government to release the prisoner engineer Muhammad al-Halabi (42 years) from the Gaza Strip.

Abu Bakr told SAFA that Al-Halabi had the longest trial in the history of the prison movement He faced more than 140 court sessions since in June 2016, without any trial or charge.

Mohammad was arrested at the Erez checkpoint while he had been having meetings in Jerusalem at the offices of World Vision located in the Gaza strip.

Abu Bakr stressed that no charges have not been proven against Al-Halabi in any way, despite his torture and abuse. He must be released immediately and unconditionally.
