Israeli Attacks on Gaza's Hospitals Condemned as "Atrocities" by Human Rights Group

The Al-Dameer Association for Human Rights has strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing targeting of hospitals in Gaza, including a recent attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. Alaa Al-Skafi, director of the association, described these attacks as part of a broader campaign of violence that continues to devastate Gaza. He stressed that this is part of a 14-month-long genocide carried out by Israeli forces.

Al-Skafi blamed the international community for its silence and failure to hold Israel accountable for its actions, pointing to the lack of meaningful consequences for the ongoing assaults. He emphasized that these violations, which include attacks on health facilities, are a flagrant disregard for international humanitarian law and human rights.

The human rights director further criticized the global inaction, noting that despite calls for accountability from the International Court of Justice and other human rights bodies, Israel continues its offensive unimpeded. Al-Skafi called for immediate action to stop the violence and protect Gaza’s civilians, who are suffering under relentless attacks.
