Northern Gaza enters its 74th day of starvation and genocide as Israeli forces continue targeting homes, infrastructure, and medical facilities. Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia remains under assault, with drones bombing the facility and explosive barrels planted nearby. On Monday, a fire broke out on the third floor after a drone strike, further crippling the hospital.
Dr Hossam Abu Safiya, the hospital director, described the situation as unprecedented, with snipers targeting the intensive care unit and ambulances attacked, leaving medics injured and most vehicles inoperable. Patients are being treated in hallways, with damaged generators, no oxygen, and a lack of clean water.
In the last 24 hours alone, the hospital received 29 injuries and five martyrs. “If this continues, the hospital will become a mass grave,” Abu Safiya warned, calling for immediate international intervention.
Since 5 October, over 4,000 have been killed in northern Gaza, with thousands more injured and detained. As humanitarian aid remains blocked, residents face death from hunger, thirst, and constant bombardment.
The death toll across Gaza has surpassed 150,000, mostly women and children, as Israeli attacks persist despite global condemnation and ICC arrest warrants for war crimes. Immediate action is needed to halt the humanitarian catastrophe.
